Montreux, is an international congress city, situated on Geneva Lake. Montreux hosts the famous Montreux Jazz festival, Montreux Comedy Festival, September Musical, Christmas Market, Freddy Mercury Memorial and few km east, the Castle of Chillon.

15min by train, 30 min by boat:
Lausanne is the second biggest city within the French speaking part of Switzerland, in the old part of the city you will find The Cathedral surrounded by old streets.
In Lausanne, you will also find the headquarter of the International Olympic Committee, as well the Olympic Museum, Béjart Ballet, the Lausanne Opera, numerous museums, art galleries and concerts halls. Lausanne is also a university campus with an international university (UNIL) and Polytechnic school (EPFL).

20min by funicular:
From Vevey, you can reach Mont Pélerin and its panoramic lift (by clear weather, you will be able to see the Geneva water jet !)

1 hour by tooth rack train:
From Vevey main train station, with a tooth rack train, you can reach Les Pléiades, family ski station in winter time and very nice, easy and quiet walking area the rest of the year.
Les Rochers de Naye are reached from Montreux, spectacular view on Geneva Lake and the Alps.

1hour by train or car:
Geneva International Airport and its water jet.
Bern, the capital of Switzerland with its beautiful old city and country parliament.
Some ski station such as Le Moléson, Gstaad, Verbier, Crans Montana, Villars, Leysin and few more, ask Anne-Sylvie or André.
Lavey Les Bains (east of Vevey) where you can find thermal baths as well as in Yverdon (North of Vevey) or Charmey (north east of Vevey).
